Bob Blackwell      We are delighted you have come to Grace Episcopal Church's website.  We hope you will also come visit us in Cullman and perhaps worship with us.  This website is intended to assist you in learning more about Grace Church and where you might become involved in our life and ministry.

About the Rev. Robert Blackwell:

 Kay & Bob Blackwell     In January of 2007, Bob began serving as pastor and priest at Grace Episcopal Church in Cullman.  For 18 months prior, he and his wife Kay, served as missionaries to All Saints Episcopal Church in Damascus, Syria.  All Saints is the only English speaking protestant church in Syria and serves an international, inter-denominational congregation.

      He served as priest of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Talladega, Alabama from 1988 to 2005. His first parish as a priest was St. Joseph’s on the Mountain in Mentone, Alabama.

      Bob earned his Masters of Divinity at Nashotah House Theological Seminary (Nashotah, Wisconsin) in 1984. The Blackwell’s have three grown children.

      Bob & Kay both grew up in Decatur, Alabama and still have family there. Bob graduated from Auburn University and Kay from the University of Alabama. Both have been active in community and civic projects, and enjoy being involved in the community
