Mary Jane Seabury

by G-web

John brought Mary Jane home yesterday morning (Sat, 11/11/08) from the Gadendale Nursing Home...

John said that Mary Jane blew him some kisses earlier today (Wed. 11/12/08).  It was the first time in a while she had acknowledged him except when she was mad about him trying to make her eat.  The interaction this morning was particularly wonderful since Mary Jane has not been very alert the past month or so.

The doctors are saying she is not a candidate for further treatment at this time.  The rapid growth and position of the tumor indicates otherwise.  They are getting set up with Cullman Hospice and all of the sitters on their list are also from Cullman.  However, the social worker helping them through this trying time is from Gardendale.

 John asks for our continued prayers and appreciates our calls, cards, web site comments more than we can imagine.

A note from the Seaburys:

We would like to offer our unending thanks to everyone from Grace who has sent us a letter or card, or called, or prayed for us, in our time of need.  We truly believe that the prayers are helping, and the phone calls and notes of concern and encouragement are lifting our spirits.  Thank you all so very  much.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: comfort and relieve your sick servant Mary Jane, and give your power of healing to those who minister to her needs, that she may be strengthened in her weakness and have confidence in your loving care; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
You have been in my thoughts and prayers and continue to be during this time. I wish I had some magical words, just know we all care.
Mary Jane and John, Please feel our prayers for you. I think the following is just perfect for both of you. Psm 121: I look to the hills—where does my help come from? My help is from Jehovah who made the mountains and the Heavens too! He will NEVER let me stumble, slip or fall for He is ALWAYS watching NEVER sleeping. Jehovah is caring for YOU - HE is your defender. He keeps you day and night from all evil and preserves your life. He keeps His eye upon you and always guards you! Please remember how much your church family cares. Many blessings, Mona and John
